Seal your doors from the elements and conserve energy with this spring loaded automatic door bottom for residential doors. It has a sleek design and is available in many finishes to match home decor. Comprised of an aluminum retainer with a 1.375" vinyl seal.
How it Works: The door bottom is comprised of a .875" aluminum retainer which snaps closed when it comes in contact with the actuation button. The actuation button is fastened to the stop of the door. As soon as the door is opened, the seal is raised to ensure a smooth opening, even over carpeted areas. It is recommended that this product be used in conjunction with a doorway threshold.
Installation: Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with casing.

The product comes exactly as it is promoted. It would be nicer if it flipped up more horizontal as that would allow more space for rugs etc. but it works as described.
My husband installed this door sweep and it works perfectly and looks great. It raises when you open the door and seals perfectly when the door is closed.
