This aluminum casing and rubber seal can be applied as a door gasket or meeting stile. Its .25" rubber bulb will create a seal that will prevent infiltration of water, dust, drafts, fire, smoke and air. Door Gasket: Applied around the perimeter of the door. The aluminum retainer is surface applied to the stop of the door. When closed, the door compresses against the seal to form a solid barrier. It is designed for gaps of 1/16" but can seal up to 1/4".
Meeting Stile: This is designed to be applied to a pair of double active doors. It is installed on the face of the door. It can fill gaps of approximately 1/4".
Seal Options: This product can be purchased with a PemkoPrene™, Silicone or Eco-V (Vinyl) Insert. Silicone has the best overall performance and should be used in high performance situations, especially those involving continuous exposure to extreme heat/cold or frequent cleaning with disinfectant. PemkoPrene™ can be applied in general gasketing situations, and locations with frequent use. Eco-V is comparable to vinyl (a lower grade rubber), though it is a newer, greener and more environmentally friendly version and surpasses the quality and durability of standard vinyl. Installation Option: Mounting options include screws or adhesives. The screw option is supplied with stainless steel screws and casing is punched on 6" centers. Adhesive comes with two-sided tape applied to the back of casing, and is supplied with TEK screws. Casing is punched 3 holes per part. Holes are punched slotted for easy installation and adjustment.

Insert Colors: The following insert colors are available: Silicone- Black or White; Eco-V- Gray, Black or White; PemkoPrene™- Gray or Black. Default coordinating combinations are supplied. To request specific combinations contact us or call us at 845-388-1300.

Really nice door gasketing in dark bronze (looks black which I wanted) and the silicone seal is key for a painted door (vinyl will pull off paint), and a superior insulator. It was great being able to get custom sizes cut since my door is larger than standard; the self driving pemko screws were dark as well, making for a modern architectural look that you can't find at a big box store.
