This Acoustic Automatic door bottom is specifically designed to soundproof doors 1-3/8" thick or above. When the door is closed it automatically lowers a drop bar seal to create a "sealed-in-place" type performance. Casing is made of aluminum, is fully mortised and works on both right and left handed doors. Available in custom sizes.

    The acoustic automatic door bottom is specifically designed for acoustic openings. Independent testing has shown that the STC Series Automatic Door Bottom has "sealed-in-place" type performance and has a smoother action positive seal mechanism.

    Door Thickness: Model is compatible with 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" thick doors. However, different end plates are required for each door. Please select from options above.

    Material: 6063-T6 Aircraft Aluminum

    Mounting:  Door bottom fully mortised so it does not alter the appearance of the door, making it perfect for decorative doors, upscale condos, dormitories, commercial buildings and luxurious hotels. 

    Handing: Non-handed, can be used on both right and left handed doors.

    Installation: Installation guide, end caps and fasteners are provided.
