Bumper Thresholds completely seal off the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Properly sealing gaps around doors results in a more insulated room environment. This ultimately leads to less energy waste, which is environmentally healthy, and helps you save on heating and cooling costs.

Bumper Thresholds completely seal off the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Properly sealing gaps around doors results in a more insulated room environment. This ultimately leads to less energy waste, which is environmentally healthy, and helps you save on heating and cooling costs.
Bumper thresholds are installed similar to a door stop, as opposed to beneath the door like other thresholds. When closed, the out- swing door presses against the bumper seal to ensure a complete seal (see product specs).
Key features of this product include:
Dimensions: This bumper threshold measures 2.5" in width with the seal extending an additional .25". Height measures .75".
Finishes: Available in aluminum mill finish, Painted white aluminum, dark bronze anodized, gold anodized, bright dip gold anodized, and satin nickel anodized.
Seal Type: Threshold can be purchased with either a thermo, vinyl or pile brush seal.
Vinyl is a widely used, durable rubber with good chemical resistance. Pemko’s ThermoSeal™ seal offers greatly improved weather sealing, thermal insulation, acoustic and smoke sealing performances. The Pile Brush has rows of strong yet flexible fibers that conform to surface irregularities on the door’s surface to ensure a tight seal.
