Stop Strips are often used with standard saddle thresholds or floor plates to provide a doorstop and seal at the bottom of the door. These .375" tall Stop Strips are made of strong aluminum casing and a durable ThermoSeal™. Fire rated and air infiltration rated. Length is custom cut to size.

Threshold Stop Strips can be installed on top of standard saddle thresholds and floor plates to improve the sealing efficiency of a door. The ThermoSeal™ inhibits the infiltration of drafts, fire, sound, light, moisture, and insects under the door. These strips also provide doorstop for the door to close against. In addition, installing these stop strips on a flat utility saddle is a cost effective way to create a rabbeted threshold/bumper threshold without replacing the original threshold. Fire and air infiltration rated.
Key features of this product include:
Dimensions: The aluminum casing measures only .625” wide with the compressible ThermoSeal extending an additional .25”, bringing the total width to .875" (see product specs). The strip is .375" tall.
Energy Conservation: A proper door seal prevents the passage of outside drafts beneath the door, which significantly reduces energy waste and lowers the cost of cooling and heating.
Aluminum Finish: Available in aluminum mill finish, dark bronze anodized aluminum, gold anodized aluminum, and bronze mill finish.
Seal: The Pemko ThermoSeal™ seal offers greatly improved weather sealing, thermal insulation, acoustic and smoke sealing performances.
Installation guide and screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively with the casing

Purchased for our storefront door system. I've used this before. It creates a good seal and helped with water infiltration especially when used with the Zero rain drip strips. Together they solved a water infiltration isse in windy conditions.
