    I purchased the Brazen #5365 Automatic door bottom sweep for my door in my kitchen that leads to my garage. I had previously purchased many years ago a similar sweep at a local hardware store but could not find any product that was similar. I had a contractor installing all new doors in my home to update my home, and i had previously had my wood floor refinished. The contractor installed a sweep on my kitchen door that led into my attached garage. The sweep that they installed was a glue on type of sweep, and the bottom sweep was stapled on the bottom. This sweep was wearing off the finish on my newly finished floors with a week, I had the contractor take off the sweep to avoid any further issues of the sweep wearing the finish off the floor from the sweep that they had installed. (SEE PHOTOS 1 THRU 4 OF SWEEP THAT WAS CAUSING ISSUE) I went to the Home Depot to find a solution for this issue, they did not have anything in stock that would work, but i was shown in a catalog your automatic door sweep, which i ordered, ( SEE PHOTOS 5 & 6 of your automatic door sweep installed) Please see PHOTOS 7 & 8 of the floor from the issue of the sweep caused. I had previously had a sweep on the kitchen door that led to the garage that was similar to your automatic door bottom, but it was not the quality of yours, and the springs were broken as was not reusable. Your Brazen automatic door bottom is much superior to the one that i had. Your automatic door bottom works terrific, as the door opens the sweep rises and does not drag on the wood floor and eliminates any wearing off of the finish on the floor, and then when the door is shut the sweep rubber sweep comes down to cut off any drafts or odors from the garage.
