Rockwood's 491 Automatic Door Holder and Stop with Strike is made of cast brass. This product is available in many finishes and with a variety of fastener combinations. The door mounted holder and floor mounted strike are designed to hold your door open and serve as a door stop as well. Very heavy duty and for use in commercial situations such as schools where maintenance free hold open is required. See below for more details.

    Rockwood's 491 cast brass door mounted door holder and stop is for use where the door is required to remain open for frequent and long intervals. There is a rubber bumper on the bottom portion of the holder. Very heavy duty and for use in commercial situations such as schools where maintenance free hold open is required.

    Installation: The holder base is mounted to the bottom of the door and the strike is installed into the floor. See product data tab for installation template.

    Features: Screw hole design allows for precise alignment and then permanent attachment.

    Clearance: 1/2" or less between the door and the floor

    Options: Strike risers available for larger clearances. Please call our office at 845-388-1300 to order a strike riser.
