Pemko #357 Meeting Stile, 2" Aluminum or Steel Overlapping Strip, .125" Thick

This Overlapping Astragal is surface applied to the face of a door to cover the gap between two doors. The metal strip is 2" x .125" and is designed for Single Active Doors in a Double Door Set. Available in anodized aluminum, steel prime or stainless steel, with or without drilling, and is custom cut to size.

This high quality, Overlapping Astragal is surface applied to the face of the door to seal the gap between a pair of double doors and prevent infiltration of dust, drafts, light, smoke, fire and moisture.

Design: Overlapping Astragal is applied to the face of the active door and sits over the gap to rest on the inactive door. The astragal will not impede on proper operation of door.

Dimensions: Strip has a width of 2" with a thickness of .125" to prevent warping and bending, even through extended use. This astragal is designed for high frequency usage and will continuously ensure superior performance.

Installation Guide and screws provided. Standard supplied fastener is #10 x 1" Truss Head SMS. Can also be installed with 1⁄4"- 20 Thru-Bolts, which can be purchased through our office by contacting us or calling at 845-388-1300.

The pre-drilled holes made the installation go much easier. The size was perfect and the item strong. I used carriage bolts to install so nobody could remove this item from the outside with basic screwdrivers. Attaches very firmly to door.
