Pemko #18250 Door Sweep, 1.375" Aluminum Casing with 2.5" Nylon Brush

This Door Sweep is fitted with a row of densely compressed nylon filaments to seal the gap under and around doors. The brush is highly flexible and conforms well to surface irregularities. Casing measures 1.375" H, while brush portion has a height of 2.5". Available in choice of anodized finishes and is custom cut to size.

I installed the sweeper on an interior cellar door this winter to keep cold air from my unfinished basement out of the upstairs. It works great. I expect to see the reverse effect this summer when I have the a/c on and will need the cool air to stay upstairs and not sink down to the basement. Previously I had just used a bean bag snake to block the gap, but it was inconvenient and a trip hazard.

Excellent resolution to our issue of small gaps below patio gates that allowed small snakes and lizards to come onto patio. Very easy to cut to perfect lengths and install. When raining, the bristles do tend to clump up a bit, leaving small gaps, but once it dries, these gaps fill right back in. Very happy with purchase and would recommend to others. Excellent quality materials. Looks great.
