This Pemko product is a kit which includes both HSS20XGxS773 Intumescent with Gasketing, and XP900SP Stop Extender. It can be applied to the frame of a door and seals gaps around the entire opening to regain lost fire ratings resulting from vertical gaps 1/8" - 3/8". Available in a variety of finishes and lengths.

    HSS20XGxS773 Pemko Excessive Gap Self-Adhesive Intumescent with Triple Fin Seal: is a PVC-encased, high performing intumescent with adhesive backing. S773 is Pemko’s triple-fin, high-temperature, silicone fire gasket with adhesive backing. It helps prevent penetration of life threatening hot smoke and hot gasses by expanding and filling the gap between a pair of doors or around the perimeter of the door. No special preparation needed before installation.

    XP900SP Stop Extender: is required to be used on openings with vertical gaps greater than 1/8” and up to 3/8”. It's made from 16 gauge galvannealed steel and can be furnished with or without holes. If using on a metal frame, it can be welded to frame - specify 'no holes.'

    Usage: It can be used on steel composite, hollow metal doors, wood and plastic-covered composite core doors, with no special preparation needed beforehand.

    Gaps: It's required to be used on openings with vertical gaps greater than 1/8” and up to 3/8”.
