    Norton's 8HD Series Checkmate, an extra heavy-duty surface stop and holder. It is designed to be used in heavy-weight doors in heavy-traffic situations. Available in different finishes of your choice.

    Features:

    • High traffic, heavy abuse applications
    • Heavy duty construction
    • Surface mounted
    • Double lever arm
    • For use on interior or exterior, single or double-acting doors
    • Maximum opening is 110 degrees
    • 1-3/4" minimum door thickness
    • Hold open and stop functions
    • Heavy shock absorber spring provides 6 degrees compression before dead stop
    • Hanging means other than standard butts or offset pivots require special templating and pricing; consult factory
    • Complete screw packet with thru-bolts for door, plus wood and machine screws for frame
    • For security areas, Torx® screws are optional
