    NGP 35EV Door Shoe with U Shaped Aluminum Casing is ideal for protecting the bottom of doors while sealing the gap up to .1875". It is compatible with 1.75" hollow metal doors. Comes with a vinyl finned seal and rounded edges

    Seals: Contains a .1875" Gray Vinyl Seal. Oxidative degradation from age and exposure to cold, heat and UV causes hardening, loss of memory and resilience, cracking, crazing and discoloration.

    Installation: Drilled for easy installation and supplied with #6 x 3/4" stainless steel SMS. Installation guide provided.

    My man-door from the garage into the kitchen is metal and 39 years old. Needless to say, the original seal had long since worn out, and the space on the bottom edge of the door was open, without obstruction. So, this door shoe design was perfect to fit up into that space. I had to trim the piece to slightly shorter than the bottom edge length of the door in order for the extrusion holding the sweep to fit into the open space. You have to be sure the sweep will fit the space under the door (1/2"). It worked perfectly.
