MUL-T-LOCK Hercular Deadbolt Double Cylinder Captive Key, Grade 1

The MUL-T-LOCK HDC Hercular Deadbolt, Double Cylinder Captive Key is truly remarkable with its genuinely unusual design. This deadbolt is strengthened in almost every manner imaginable. Almost every effort at forced entry can be prevented thanks to its powerful latch, UL437 Listed Cylinder, and Bolt Bearing Mechanism.

Function: 

• Double Cylinder Captive Key - offers high security by requiring a key for unlocking from both the inside and outside, but uniquely allows the inside key to be "captured" within the lock when not in use, preventing it from being lost or easily accessed by intruders, often by using a special thumbturn key that locks into the deadbolt itself for emergency egress, adding a layer of convenience to a double-keyed system.

• Thumbturn tail adjustable to door width
• Thumbturn can be set horizontally or vertically in locked position
