This ADA compliant and fire rated 10" wide Saddle Threshold is extruded from high quality aluminum, providing long lasting superior performance. It has a height clearance of .25" which aids in insulating a room as well as creates a smooth transition between two floor surfaces. Available in various different finishes, length is custom cut to size.

    Installation: Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to coordinate with the saddle. If the threshold is being drilled into concrete, an Expansion Anchor is recommended.

    Drilling: Threshold is drilled along the center line.

    #sweepstakes. I had a threshold that was about 1 inch higher on one side. This threshold worked perfectly to level the sides out.

    Solid construction

    Comments about Pemko #2750 Utility Threshold, 10" Aluminum with .25" Height

    Used this to span the distance between two communicating doors for a home theater room remodel. The threshold is only really supported on the two outer edges and not touching anything in the middle. Despite this, it doesn't flex much in the middle. It took some effort to cut with a hacksaw to fit around some of the framing (thick aluminum and dull saw). Not sure what I'm going to do with the screw holes. Ideally, there would have been an option without holes.
