This nosing covers the sill surface and extends 1.5" down over the stair's edge. The surface is grooved to create a non-slip environment for areas with children or moisture. This nosing was helpful to cover my epoxy coated basement steps. It is available in pre-cut lengths, wide enough to cover the primary traffic area and should be strong enough to protect from dolly wheels bounding up/down the stairs.

Needed to replace a worn out, wooden nose where our kitchen tile meets our sunken living room tile. Looked all over locally and could not find anything to fit for this use. Don't know if I can use brand names, but I used Liquid Nails "Fuse It" to bond the metal nose to both vertical and horizontal tiles. It is holding strong and looks beautiful.
Stair nosing is heavier gauge than available items in home improvement centers. Looks good and it appears to have the potential or long time use.
Did not pay much attention,just clicked through to the hardware site.
The only bad thing is that it came bent, and we had to 'fix' it. Probably because we only bought 1. But it looks awesome. Customer service was great at helping me getting just 1 trim.

I would recommend buying this product. I used it between my kitchen and a sunken family room to cover the edge of the step. It did a great job easy to install. The length was exactly what I ordered. Easy to select and purchase with no issues with delivery.
