This Door Gasket and Sweep is supplied with an 45º angled flange which provides the best contact between the seal and the floor surface or door jamb. It can seal up to .25” gaps and greatly reduce infiltration of light, air, wind, rain, and snow; prevents heat loss; and controls the penetration of smoke and fumes. Available in various aluminum finishes, with two brush insert options, and is custom cut to size.

This multi-purpose fire and smoke rated door sweep can be applied to both wood and metal doors. It can be used on overhead garage doors, sectional, sliding and automatic doors.

The door sweep is supplied with a 45º angled flange which provides ideal contact between the seal and the floor surface beneath it. It is fitted with a row of .375" high quality bristles which can seal up to .25” gaps. They conform well to the contours of many sealing surfaces, which provides a superior seal with extremely low closing force. The brush insert remains flexible in weathers down to -40ºF and over 400ºF. The casing is punched with elongated slots which allow for easy adjustment once installed.

Nylon Brush consist of densely compressed nylon bristles for a superior seal.

Soft Brush is made of very flexible, soft fibers, made for applications above delicate surfaces.

Installation instructions and screws provided. Screws are colored to blend unobtrusively with casing.

Brush Inserts: Clear Anodized is supplied with a grey insert and all other finishes is supplied with a black insert. Other combinations can be requested. Contact us or call us at 845-388-1300 to place a request.

Just perfect!

Comments about Pemko #45041 Door Gasket and Sweep, Aluminum with .375" Angled Brush

I added this sweep to my back screen door. It helps keep bugs and critters from getting underneath the screen door which isn't snug against the cement landing. My house is older and nothing is perfect or square, and because the angled brush is flexible, it works.
